Death of the USA

I read an article written by Liz Sidoti of AP about the Health Care Bill that passed in the House on Sunday March 21st. This article bothered me in many ways and I believe that as Tuesday March 23rd, 2010, the United States of America will no longer exist. Oh on paper it exist, but as what the Founders intended for this nation is no more.
This health care bill will now make it a crime for not to have health insurance and we citizens are required to have insurance. Never before has this happened and Obama has control of not only health care, but also the banking system and the auto industry. This is socialism using a capital system. Sooner or later the government will nationalize all industries and we will be on a command market and no longer a consumer market.
What bothers me is what Obama said on Sunday. He stated, "We proved that this government — a government of the people and by the people — still works for the people," the president said late Sunday, beginning his sales pitch from the White House one hour after Congress passed the sweeping measure. "This isn't radical reform but it is major reform," he added. "This is what change looks like." How can he say this with a straight face? From what he said, his idea of the people is not the people themselves, but the government as the people clearly did not want this according to the polls. That was the way the courts and liberals interpreted the 2nd Amendment about keeping and baring arms. But the people are the citizens of the United States. Obama, along with the Democrats want a nation that does not look like what our Founders wanted, but a nation more in line with the former USSR.
I believe that the Dems have a plan in place to ensure their win in November as they buck the people by passing this bill. I think that some “emergency” or “crisis” will prompt Obama to try to postpone the election. Either that or new laws will allow illegals and prisoners allow to vote. They will vote Dem. Once they have a lock of their power, watch out. We will lose all of our freedoms that those who served died to maintain. They died in vain.
This week is indeed a dark week for us patriots.

Female Navy Captain being relieved of duty

First question is how this woman got promoted in the first place as she has a track record of acting like this. Another is why the Navy take did so long to fire her. Did any of the sailors complain to the IG? What about Congressional complaints? Why did no one see that she was not developing any sub-ordinate officers? According to the article she would tell any officer seeking help that they should already know what to do and not to bother her.
There are many bad leaders in this military, but this captain takes the cake.
Was all this due to political correctness of placing women in combat (the belief that there is no difference between the sexes.)? Are we as a nation so blind in equality that we overlook the actual differences?
When I was working at the Totem Lake RadioShack in Kirkland, WA, a woman bought some things and our conversation wondered into sex equality. She said that she was a feminist at one time and firmly believed that there was no difference between the sexes and that the differences were caused by society. Then she got married and had five boys. She said, “Boys are different! They are far more aggressive then girls” and more adventurous, more wild.
We need to stop this pushing women into combat positions and remove them from even certain theater of operations. Use women in positions so that men can be freed to serve in combat areas. It worked in WWII and earlier wars, no real reason for the change.

End of the Year

12/26/09 Today was a normal day as I did not do much but chase Ruthie all the time. Outside it was very warm, around 37f. Not like a couple weeks ago when it was -29f. Brrrrrr!
